Private Health Insurance (Dubai team)

Owner needed before this is published. It describes medical cover and the renewal is due.

Our private health insurance plan was renewed effective 19 July 2025, continuing with our current provider, Global Care / HanseMerkur.

Added in 2025

Comprehensive digital wellbeing and assistance programme. A digital platform with personalised health programmes, expert-led exercise routines and interactive tools, plus multilingual counselling by app, video, phone or chat. Only a basic assistance programme was available in 2024.

Medical repatriation and evacuation. Up to AED 100,000 for medically necessary transport to the nearest suitable facility or to your home country. Excluded in 2024.

Shingles vaccine. Now included among the DHA-approved vaccinations. Not explicitly listed in 2024.

Burial or cremation expenses. Up to AED 10,000 in the place of death, where that is not the home country. Not covered in 2024.

Removed in 2025

None. No services were removed or downgraded against the 2024 policy. All existing cover remains, and some has been expanded or renamed for clarity.

• Two PDF attachments did not migrate: the UAE table of benefits and the Nextcare app guide. Both were Notion file attachments. Move them to the Drive folder and link them here. Until that is done this page is incomplete, and the table of benefits is the part people actually need.
• The network list was a Google Sheets link and should be re-linked once the Drive structure exists.
• The 19 July 2025 renewal means the next one has passed or is imminent. Check whether a 2026 renewal happened and this page simply was not updated.
• There is a sibling page for the Istanbul team. Keep the two clearly distinguished by location in the title so nobody reads the wrong one.
